    Subject: The subject of a verb is the noun or pronoun which performs the action. Ex: the train left early.

    Verb: A word used for an action. Ex: to have, to be, to do, to watch, to walk. The patterns of irregular verbs vary.

    Tense: Verbs are used in tenses, which indicate when an action takes place (in the present, past, and future).

    Personal pronouns: I, you, he/she/it, we, they (me, you, him/her/it, us, them)

    Preposition: with, in, to, at, above, below, among (usually followed by a noun, or pronoun) Ex: after the show/ on the shelf/  of London.

    Present participle: the verb form which ends in  -ing

    Past: Past participle of a verb is the form which is used after to have ( I have said ).

    Imperative: A mood used for giving orders. Stop! Don't go! Let's go!

    Conditional: A mood describing what might happen if a condition were fulfilled. Ex: I would have come if...

    Adjective: A describing word. Ex: a small house.

    Adverb: Used with a verb to add extra information about how the action is done ( how, when, where...). Add -ly to the adjective (Carefully, slowly). Note: y changes to i, le changes to ly. Ex: he quickly drank.

    Conjugations: join words, phrases, or clauses. Ex: and, but, nor, neither, and then.

    Demonstrative Pronoun: This ( That ) ; These (Those)

    Pronoun (zamir): A word which stands for a noun. The main categories of pronouns are:
    Personal (I, you, he, she, we, they); Possessive (mine, your(s), his, hers, our(s), their(s); Reflexive (myself, himself, ourselves); Interrogative (who? what? which?); Relative (who, which, that, what); Demonstrative (this, that, these); Indefinite (some(body). any(thing), something, each, none--refers to persons or things generally).

    My, your, his, our, their are bound to a noun (and are called possessive adjectives). Ex. his, its:
    this is my hat / that hat is mine.

    C. USE

    1 PERSONAL PRONOUNS a) Subject form or object form

    i) Normally the subject forms (I, you, he, she, we, they) are used for the subject. Examples like:

    me and the wife are always there

    are incorrect though commonly heard. But English often uses the object forms (me, him, her, us, them) in instances where many languages use the subject forms:

    who is it? - it's me

    let Henry go and speak to her - what? him?
    who did it? -
    me (or I did)

    (It is I/he/she etc would be considered comically formal.)
